Remote Activation Options for the ToggleBlok System
The ToggleBlok Valve can be remotely activated using a variety of methods, offering flexibility and ease of integration into your site operations. Options include SMS control, E-Stop buttons, auxiliary panels, BMS integration, and the RACP (Remote Activation Call Point) system.
SMS Control
The ToggleBlok System supports remote operation via SMS from up to eight registered mobile devices. Authorised users can open or close the valve and will receive automatic notifications whenever the valve is operated.
E-stop
The E-Stop is a wired emergency close button that allows the valve to be shut remotely with a fast and simple activation. It can be installed directly on, or at a distance from, the main control panel. Reopening the valve must be done via the main control panel or SMS. Note: Careful placement is recommended to avoid accidental activation.
Auxillary control
The auxiliary control panel is a wired interface that replicates the functionality of the main control unit. Ideal for locations such as security offices or control hubs, it allows full control of the valve and provides fault indication. (Unit reference: AC)
BMS interface
The ToggleBlok controller can be integrated into your Building Management System (BMS) via a volt-free alarm contact. This allows the BMS to receive signals indicating whether the valve is open or closed, supporting seamless system-wide monitoring.
RCAP remote call point/radio
The RACP is a wireless remote activation unit that communicates via mobile signal and SMS. It is ideal for remote or hard-to-cable locations. Signal strength should be tested during installation, especially if the unit is housed indoors. A booster aerial can be installed if needed to improve reception.
Each RACP unit can activate up to eight valves and can be linked to any device with a volt-free, normally open contact. This allows existing monitoring equipment to serve as a trigger for the ToggleBlok Valve, providing powerful integration with environmental or safety systems.
